About the ProductGORI 44+ Quick Dry Translucent Wood Stain is an alkyd modified, water based, semi-translucent wood protection which enhances the natural structure of the wood. GORI 44+ Quick Dry Translucent Wood Stain gives the wood a decorative and weather resistant surface whilst protecting against the sun’s UV-rays and preventing surface fungi and mould. Ideal for use on cladding, fences and exterior structures. Can be used on new and previously treated wood.
ApplicationEnsure good ventilation during application and drying. Apply by brush or roller. Stir well. Do not apply when moisture of the wood is above 18% at the time of treatment or if the temperature is below +5°C and relative humidity is below 80%. Avoid application in damp conditions or externally when rain is imminent. Never apply wood protection in direct sunlight. Apply one coat of GORI 11 Wood Preservative as directed before applying two coats of GORI 44+ Quick Dry Translucent Wood Stain. Please note that the final colour result depends on the colour of the substrate. If more than one can of the same colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Additional coats may be required in certain colours or when attempting a wide colour change.
Drying Time & CoverageDrying Time: Touch dry: 1 hour. Recoatable with GORI 44+: 4 hours . Touch dry: app. 24 hours. (measured at 23°C and standard humidity of 60%). Coverage: GORI 44+ Quick Dry Translucent Wood Stain will cover approximately 9-12 m2/l.
